This Spring 2025, UTILITY is redefining the restaurant trade show experience. Curated by your friends in hospitality at TILIT NYC and executed by Chicago's Luce Ends, this progressive event focuses on meaningful connections and innovation.

Restaurant trade shows have not changed in more than 100 years but the hospitality industry has evolved beyond recognition. The 500,000+ independent restaurants in the US are yearning for a show focused on representation and authenticity.

How much does it cost to attend Utility?

This year we are offering the option to come one of the two days for USD 25.00 or both days for USD 40.00. We recommend both days to enjoy the full experience. Either way, we welcome you to embark on the festivities. Grab your tickets here

What do I get with my ticket?

Lots of bites, drinks, educational panels, and networking with industry icons and innovators. Not to mention FREE tattoos and a chance to win $20,000 in the pitch competition. Official contest rules here. The first 300 attendees will get a packed swag bag so arrive on time and get some incredible goodies.

I didn’t purchase a ticket online. Can I get a ticket when I get there? 

Purchasing tickets in advance and as soon as possible is highly encouraged. Depending on availability, you may be able to get a ticket at the door while supplies last.

UTILITY is for the industry and by the industry. Following a triumphant 2024 show, we return this year with an even greater scale, featuring panels, a $20,000 Pitch Competition, Tattoos, Cooking Competitions, Exhibitors, Swag, and an array of exciting additions. An experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Are there any good hotels nearby?

Mae District is located blocks away from McCormick Center, located in the South Loop near several great hotel options, including Hilton Garden Inn Chicago McCormick Place and Hampton Inn Chicago McCormick Place

What's the closest public transportation?

The closest public transportation is the Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line Station with wheelchair accessible entrance.

Is there easy access for people in wheelchairs or with mobility needs?

Yes. The Main floor of the space is on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible – the additional space on the second-floor mezzanine will not be utilize for the UTILITY show.

Is there a shuttle running between the other trade show, ie. NRA  and Utility?

Yes! Complimentary shuttle service will be available between both shows throughout the event. More information coming soon on shuttle schedule.

Can I bring my kids to Utility?

We love the kids,  but they can’t join us at this event. Festivities are all 21 and up.
